Terms of service

1. Who these terms are between
These terms govern the use of this website and the services offered by SavvyAdmin AI Inc. By using this site or booking a call, you accept them. A signed service agreement, where one exists, takes precedence over these terms.
2. What we do
SavvyAdmin AI builds and operates managed administrative systems for small businesses: appointment booking, reminders, quoting, invoicing and related workflows. Each system is configured for one client and operated by us on an ongoing basis.
We do not perform bookkeeping and we do not enter data on a client's behalf. We build and run the system that produces the documents; the client remains responsible for its own records and for their accuracy.
3. No guarantee of results
4. Pricing and payment
Every engagement involves a one-time implementation fee and a fixed monthly service fee. The implementation fee depends on the system chosen and the scope of what is built; the monthly fee covers the managed service, hosting, messaging and support. Both are set out in a written quote before any work begins.
There is no long-term commitment. Either party may end the monthly service by written notice; the implementation fee is not refundable once the work has been delivered.
5. Support and response time
Requests are answered within two business days. Support is provided in French and English, by email, through a single channel agreed at the start of the engagement. Two minor changes per month are included in the monthly fee.
We do not operate a telephone support line and we do not commit to immediate or after-hours response.
6. Your data belongs to you
All data entered into a system we build remains the property of the client. Data is never shared or pooled between clients: only the structure and the mechanisms are reused, never the content of a database.
On termination, the client may request an export of their data in a structured format. See our privacy policy for how personal information is handled, where it is hosted, and your rights under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector.
7. Third-party services
Our systems rely on third-party providers, including Supabase for data hosting, Twilio for text messaging, Resend for email delivery, Netlify for hosting, Cal.com for scheduling and Anthropic for document processing. Some of these providers process data outside Quebec. We remain responsible for the choices we make, but we cannot be held liable for an interruption, delay or failure originating with one of these providers.
8. Messaging compliance
Where a system sends text messages or automated emails to a client's own customers, the client is the sender in the eyes of the law. The client is responsible for obtaining consent, for identifying itself, and for honouring opt-out requests. We build the mechanisms that make this possible and we configure them, but we do not assume the client's legal obligations.
9. Limitation of liability
Our liability in connection with a service is limited to the amounts paid by the client over the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of clientele, or loss of data where a current backup existed.
10. Changes to these terms
We may modify these terms. The date at the top of this page indicates the most recent version. Any change affecting an active engagement is communicated to the client in writing.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Canada. The applicable provincial law and the competent court are set out in each written service agreement.
